Guess what? Morecambe Sparkle needs YOUR help to make ‘Baylight 24’ shine even brighter this half term!

We’re hosting a super cool Gobo design contest, and we want YOU to be the creative genius behind it.

What’s a Gobo, you ask? It’s a nifty little disc that goes into lighting fixtures to project rad images or patterns. Think of it as your chance to add a touch of magic to the Bay.

Here’s the deal: Your artwork needs to scream nautical vibes – sea creatures, Bay wonders, you name it! Get your community creative group together and sketch out some awesome designs. Needs to be a circle, download the attached worksheet to assist, and drop it into the Old Courthouse on Clark Street – the Gobo manufacturer turns it into the real deal.

Oh, and did we mention we’re picking THREE winners? Yup, your design could be lighting up the promenade during our 3-day Baylight extravaganza from February 15th-17th, 2024 – right in the heart of half term!
