Bird Song

Bird song explores the unique biodiversity of Morecambe bay. For three nights only we will invite the birds into the winter gardens to fly around the ceiling and see who we can spot. Ashley Murphy has been collaborating with young people of the west end to create brand new animations of famous birds of the bay as celebrate the different breeds. All this will be accompanied by sounds of bird song and new music.

You can drop in at any time, however if you’d like to experience the whole piece, the set times are below;

Ashley Murphy has been creating digital art for 12 years he uses animation to explore what is important to us and how we can dress unlikely spaces to shine a light on places often not looked at. 

He has worked as a VJ in venues across the north west and has a passion for old school animation and video games from the 1980s.
